Boxers can produce about 50 percent more boxers than we need. But they also have the potential to be quite a bit more tasty and healthy if we use them regularly.
I have a small boxers collection. The most recent one was about 3 months ago. It’s a great little number to have, but it’s not the greatest value for money. The good news is that boxes can be turned into great meals. I’ve learned that they have a great amount of vitamin D in them, which means that you get more than just protein in your box. If you eat more than the recommended servings, you’ll get more vitamins.
I have boxes of protein at home, but they don’t often get touched. I’ve heard of people doing a big box of protein with meals, but I’ve never tried it.
Ive been doing a lot of cooking recently, so the protein in my box is getting me more than I expected. I have a couple of protein boxes, but usually theyre just one serving. I usually just get it like this, and mix it into a salad, with some veggies, or add it to the kids lunchbox. Ive also heard of people making it with beans or even with vegetables. Ive never tried it though.
I can tell you that using rice is the only way to go, but you know what? It’s not a fool’s errand, so if you don’t know how to make rice, you don’t know how to make your own.
I do know how to make rice, and for those of us who do, the process is the same. First, you need to soak the rice for a day in water to soften it. Then you can either boil it or saute it, and once you have the rice, you can either store it in one container, or make a large batch. If you have a crock pot, you can do all of that in advance and just throw it in.
You can also add milk, oil, a little sugar, and salt to the rice once you have it (which is why I mention making rice). The best part is that this is totally optional. You can buy premade white rice in the Asian or Latin markets, or whatever the local supermarkets are selling. Rice is a great, cheap, and easy source of carbs.
There are other ways to store rice besides in a crock pot, but if you want to get fancy, you can set up a rice cooker. I like to leave the rice in the pot for about a week before I eat it so that it has time to absorb the flavors from the ingredients.
I have a friend who makes his own rice. He does it all in a large bowl and then cooks it in a separate pot. The taste is good and it’s not too labor-intensive.
